The St. Landry Parish School Board Virtual Learning Academy (VLA) is a program within the St. Landry Parish School Board. It is accessible to all registered students within the district, entering sixth through twelfth grade. VLA is an online instructional program. While engaged in online learning through VLA, students are expected to assume increased responsibility for their own learning.
The St. Landry Parish School Board VLA has been designed to align with grade-level standards, allowing students to successfully transition to a traditional learning environment. Students will remain enrolled at their school campus and may participate in extracurricular activities at their school.
VLA is a program that is subject to the rules and regulations of the Louisiana Department of Education and the St. Landry Parish School Board. VLA follows the St. Landry Parish School Board’s calendar for test dates, holidays, and grading periods.
