GPE PARENTS: TOMORROW, MAY 20TH, is our Honors Program at 9:00 A.M. Students that are receiving an award may dress in Sunday's best for the program. In the afternoon, we host our fun day, "Splash Bash," beginning at 1:00 P.M. For the "Splash Bash," students MUST BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES, due to the water activities. They may also wear school appropriate shorts, and a COLORED SHIRT! NO SWIMSUITS!
School Fees must be paid in order to attend the "Splash Bash!" Concession items will be sold at the event so please send money with your child. If you have any questions, please call the school. Thank you!

Tomorrow our 3rd graders will begin their LEAP sessions and 4th grade will continue with theirs. Please continue ensuring that students attend each day and arrive by 8:00. Also, NO BOOK SACKS for 3rd and 4th graders tomorrow. THANK YOU, again for helping us to show why GPE is the BEST!
GPE parents: LEAP state testing BEGINS TOMORROW! Our 4th graders will be taking this very important test tomorrow and our 3rd graders will begin Wednesday! Please ensure that your child will be at school all day on these dates: April 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th, May 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Students MUST arrive at school before 8:00 a.m. every day. We ask that 4th grade students DO NOT BRING BOOK SACKS beginning tomorrow and everyday until testing is over (Thursday, May 5th). Also, beginning at 8:00 each day of testing, the gates will be LOCKED and no one will be allowed on campus unattended. Someone will meet you at the gym if you need to check in/out a student.
